This report is a literature review of the history of distance education/distance learning. The scan covers the nearly 250 years of documented distance education programs and traces the changes in the technologies that supported the learning purpose.

This guide is intended to share what they have learned and support others to create their own cardboard maker worlds.

This is an overview of research to measure STEM Engagement and Advocacy of Older Adults (50+). This work explored findings from Design Challenges hosted for older adult learners and also resulted in survey instruments to be used for this population. It also outlines constructs that were developed to inform the research.
Informal STEM learning experiences (ISLEs), such as participating in science, computing, and engineering clubs and camps, have been associated with the development of youth’s science, technology, engineering, and mathematics interests and career aspirations. This project builds off prior work conducted for the Science Center Public Forums project (NA15SEC008005) where eight forums were held at different sites across the US related to four climate hazards (drought, sea level rise, extreme heat, and extreme precipitation).

Informal physics programs are understudied partly due to the broad spectrum of program structures and wide variety of activities.
