My Sky is a NASA funded project, which developed a traveling exhibition on astronomy. Boston Children’s Museum (BCM) created the exhibition in collaboration with the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO). During the development of the first permanent exhibition to be installed at COSI, a science center in Columbus, Ohio, a number of front-end, developmental, and remedial evaluations were implemented over the course of 3 years. This is an evaluation study of a new installation of seven interactives in the Jungle Trails exhibition area of the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. The formative evaluation is framed by the overall evaluation question: Does the Jungle Trails area facilitate learning through family interactions?
