This poster was presented at the 2014 AISL PI Meeting. It describes the radio and stage storytelling programs undertaken by the Center for Chemical Evolution, a CCI jointly funded by NSF and NASA.
This article describes Cosmic Chemistry, a two-week summer learning program for 9th and 10th grade students that focuses on chemistry with an astronomical twist. The program focuses on building a foundation for the next school year's science content, providing rigorous and relevant science experiences to help the students who need it most before they fall behind.
In this article, Eric Siegel, Director and Chief Content Officer at the New York Hall of Science, addresses examples of exhibitions that attempt to create experiences that communicate phenomena too big, small, slow, or abstract for normal sensory comprehension.
