Sparticl Website Launched

Sparticl, a new informal science learning portal, is now live at www.sparticl.org. Created by TPT Twin Cities Public Television with support from 3M, Sparticl is a free, searchable showcase of the top science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)-related content from trusted sources like PBS, National Geographic, Scientific American, Discovery, and a host of science centers and museums, including the Smithsonian, Exploratorium, and the American Museum of Natural History. All of the content is curated by experts to make sure it is accurate, safe, and engaging. Designed for teens ages 13-15, but open to all ages, Sparticl’s unique social gaming features encourage teens to test their knowledge, rate, comment on, and share content. For every activity, users earn points, badges, and status. Sparticl is actively seeking new partners in the science education community to bring your programs and web content to a wider audience. Please contact Colin Cox at ccox@tpt.org or (651) 229-1443 for more information.
