A University of Rhode Island's (URI) master's student specializing in environmental communication, program coordinator for URI's 4-H program, and co-author of the Inclusive Science Communication Starter Kit developed a panel about equitable research partnerships through a grant from Madison Jones' Dwell Lab. They invited a stellar group of panelists representing community-based organizations serving diverse and historically underrepresented communities in Rhode Island and southern New England. The event hopes to entice much-needed conversations about how to develop equitable research partnerships with community-based organizations and identify inclusive practices and intentional collaborative strategies that academics and researchers can employ to increase the impact of their scholarship and research projects.

This event is open to the URI community, URI partners and affiliates, and the public.
