Office Hours: Experiential Learning for Emerging and Novel Technologies (ExLENT)
The Experiential Learning in Emerging and Novel Technologies (ExLENT) program is beginning to schedule Webinars and Q&A sessions for potential PIs interested in submitting proposals for the September 14th, 2023 deadline. The ExLENT program seeks to support experiential learning opportunities for individuals from diverse professional and educational backgrounds that will increase access to, and interest in, career pathways in emerging technology fields (e.g., advanced manufacturing, advanced wireless, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, quantum information science, semiconductors, and microelectronics). Projects are typically 3 years in duration and PIs can request up to $1,000,000 for their project. The website has a number of resources- a FAQ, an informational webinar and a technical webinar.
The next session is a virtual Q&A session on Monday, June 12, 2023, from 12–1 p.m. ET. In this session, program directors will briefly discuss technical details about submitting a proposal for the ExLENT funding opportunity and answer questions about the program.
