One of the goals of the Association of Zoos and Aquarium (AZA) Conservation Education Committee (CEC) is to connect zoo and aquarium educators with professional content and resources to support them in their practice. For the second year, the CEC is hosting a 3-part webinar series engaging diverse perspectives from the AZA community on current “hot topic” - writing education plans for your organization. In this 3-part webinar series, representatives from the AZA community will share what an education plan is, why it is important to write one (including for accreditation), how to get started, what are core elements of a plan, and how this gets embedded within the broader institutional priorities.
