NSTA Award For Informal Science Education

The National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) recently announced the recipients of their 2013 NSTA Teachers Awards Program, which honors teachers, administrators, professors, and other educators for their outstanding achievements and contributions to science education. Recipients were presented with their awards at the annual NSTA National Conference in San Antonio, TX on Friday, April 12th. This year, Rachel Meyer, Executive Director of CuriOdyssey in San Mateo, CA and Joe Muskin, education coordinator at the Center for Nanoscale Chemical-Electrical-Mechanical Manufacturing Systems at the University of Illinois, Urbana, both received the NSTA Distinguished Informal Science Education Award. Congratulations to both recipients!
