1. How long does it take to create a Member Profile?
Depending upon how detailed you care to be, the process may take 10-20 minutes.
2. What information do I need to create a Member Profile?
You may create a Member Profile by adding information that you easily have on hand, such as your name, work place, and job title. However, to create an information-rich Member Profile, we suggest that you have the following available: (a) an image of yourself or an avatar (e.g., jpeg, gif, png); (b) a personal or professional web page address; (c) a current professional bio in narrative form of any length); (d) media files and links (e.g., web site URLs, video, work images, powerpoint presentations); (e) an updated CV/resume.
3. Can I update my member profile?
Yes. You may edit and update your Member Profile as often as desired. Use the Update Profile link in the member section to view an editable version of your profile page. Think of these pages as one place to continually update and showcase your work, interests and ideas online to an interested community.
4. Can I control who sees my email address?
Yes. You may choose to make your email address visible to all web site visitors, site-members only, or to no one at all.
